Strengthen your core and keep moving with a live, online 4 week session of mat Pilates. This class session will also come with exclusive access to our Pilates classes on Demand library for the month. Cost is $99. Or you can sign up for ongoing classes- auto renews each month for $79! Classes are 45 minutes on zoom and replays will be sent after class. Strengthen and lengthen on the reformer, chair, and other Pilates equipment with small group classes. Our group classes have a maximum of 4 people in order to ensure personalized attention. Previous pilates experience is required (sign up for our intro package first if you are new to the Pilates equipment)! Grip socks are required (we sell them in the studio if you need). Masks are optional. The 4 week session is $175 and includes 1 class a week and access to The Pilates PT on demand- click on the sign up for classes button at the top to sign up for the full session. Yoga for a Healthy Pelvic Floor
Tuesday May 24 12-1:30pm at Bird Barre (in Melody Farms Vernon Hills)
Join Dr. Rachel Miller, women's health PT/Pilates instructor and Stephanie Bersh, RYT200 to gain an in-depth understanding of your pelvic floor and common issues. You will learn about the connection with breathing and ways to create a healthy pelvic floor. Then move through yoga poses that facilitate relaxation of the pelvic floor and progress to poses that strengthen. Cost is $45, please register here.
Women's Wellness: Core & Pelvic Floor
Friday June 24 9:30-11am In person & Virtual (zoom) option available
Join Dr. Rachel to find your inner core! This class is for women with diastasis recti (abdominal separation), pelvic organ prolapse, stress incontinence (leaking urine when sneezing, coughing, jumping, etc), are postpartum, or want to connect with your deep core. You will learn important concepts and then strengthen your deep core muscles with Pilates based exercises. Educational videos with exercises are included for home practice. New moms are welcome but must be cleared from their Physician to participate in exercise. Cost is $45, and you can click the sign up for classes button below to register.
