"I was referred to Rachel after having low back pain for months. This was after seeing another company that does PT and a chiropractor. Rachel was able to quickly assess what to do and I'm happy to report my back is better. She is super responsive and helpful and was also able to quick fix a shoulder issue in one visit! I highly recommend seeing Rachel for any issue you may experience." - Erica F.
Relieve. Retrain. Restore.
"Rachel is a fantastic physical therapist. I had sprained my shoulder and was in so much pain. I first went to a physical therapist (recommended by my orthopedic surgeon) that my insurance covered. Nothing was working. The orthopedic surgeon told me I was going to be needing cortisone... Rachel manipulated a few things, gave me some stretches, and when I left her office that day I was feeling 100% better. It has been over a year and I am still pain-free!" -Michele C.
"About one year ago, I pulled my hip flexor and the pain significantly impacted my ability to exercise. I had a consultation with Rachel but hesitated to continue because she was "out of network" with my insurance. I proceeded with the traditional "big box" physical therapy provider. After 8 sessions and minimal improvement, I decided to go back to Rachel. All I can say is that she is amazing! Within two sessions my pain was significantly better. By the end of 8 sessions, my pain was gone for the first time in over a year. More importantly, she instructed me on how to improve my symptoms if they return." -Mina F.
"Love Rachel!! I have had a very long history of low back pain and most recently hurt it badly at Crossfit. Rachel has not only helped me recover but is also teaching me how to prevent my back from "going out" by helping me find my inner core and doing proper exercises to create functional movement and strength!" -Rhiannon S.

Do I need a referral from my Doctor for Physical Therapy?
No, you can come in directly for a Physical Therapy evaluation and receive treatment without a referral from your Physician.
Do you accept my insurance?
The Pilates PT is a fee for service clinic, meaning payment is required at the time of service. This enables The Pilates PT to provide high quality care and attention- charging less money for more time with a Physical Therapist, and insurance does not dictate the care you receive. The Pilates PT is considered an out of network provider. Please contact your insurance company and ask about your out of network benefits. Upon request, you will be given a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance or health/flex spending account so you may be reimbursed for Physical Therapy services. The Pilates PT is not a Medicare provider. Pilates and wellness services are not typically covered by insurance. A Physician referral is no longer required for Physical Therapy, although some insurance companies may still require one.
What should I wear?
Please wear workout clothes, shoes are not allowed on the Pilates equipment. If you prefer to wear socks, we recommend socks with grips. For Physical Therapy, we also recommend wearing clothing that allows access to the injured area (for example, wear shorts or pants that can be easily rolled up if you have knee pain or a tank top if you have shoulder pain).
Does pain keep you from doing the activities you love?
Do you have chronic pain or an injury that won't go away? Or goes away and keeps coming back?
You need a solution that relieves your pain and restores your function. Combining traditional Physical Therapy (manual therapy, taping, home exercise instruction, and more) with movement re-training on the Pilates equipment provides a holistic approach to rehabilitation. Our Physical Therapists treat your whole body, not just the current injury, and educate you in order to stay better, longer! All sessions are one on one, no unsupervised exercise or double booking, so the focus is on YOU and providing the highest level of care that you deserve.
