Do I need a referral from my Doctor for Physical Therapy?

No, you can come in directly for a Physical Therapy evaluation and receive treatment without a referral from your Physician.   

Do you accept my insurance?

The Pilates PT is a fee for service clinic, meaning payment is required at the time of service.  This enables The Pilates PT to provide high quality care and attention- charging less money for more time with a Physical Therapist, and insurance does not dictate the care you receive.  The Pilates PT is considered an out of network provider.  Please contact your insurance company and ask about your out of network benefits.  Upon request, you will be given a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance or health/flex spending account so you may be reimbursed for Physical Therapy services.  The Pilates PT is not a Medicare provider.  Pilates and wellness services are not typically covered by insurance.  A Physician referral is no longer required for Physical Therapy,  although some insurance companies may still require one.  

What should I wear?

Please wear workout clothes, shoes are not allowed on the Pilates equipment.  If you prefer to wear socks, we recommend socks with grips.  For Physical Therapy, we also recommend wearing clothing that allows access to the injured area (for example, wear shorts or pants that can be easily rolled up if you have knee pain or a tank top if you have shoulder pain).
